1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how MatchMoney ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our esports tournament platform for PUBG Mobile and Free Fire. By using the platform, you agree to the practices described here.
2. About in-app coins
MatchMoney uses a virtual in-app currency called coins. Coins are used to enter tournaments and to buy in-game items in our shop. Coins have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged or cashed out for money, and are usable only inside the app. This policy describes how we handle data related to coin purchases and activity.
3. Information we collect
- Account details — your username, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and your in-game name (IGN) and UID for the game(s) you play (PUBG Mobile and/or Free Fire).
- Google sign-in data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password.
- Coin and tournament activity — your coin balance, coin purchases, tournaments you join, in-game items you order from the shop, and any payment confirmation you upload when buying coins.
- Device data for notifications — a push notification token so we can send you match and order updates.
- Technical data — basic information such as your IP address and device/browser, used for security and to prevent abuse.
4. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and verify your email.
- To seat you in tournaments and deliver coin rewards and shop items using your IGN/UID.
- To process coin purchases.
- To send you notifications about matches, results, and shop orders.
- To keep the platform fair and secure, including detecting cheating and fraud.
- To contact you about your account, verification, or password resets.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where necessary: with service providers that help us operate (such as our email/hosting provider), or where required by law. Your IGN may be visible to other participants within a tournament as part of normal play.
6. Data security
We protect your data with reasonable measures: passwords are stored as hashes (never in plain text), sensitive actions are protected against cross-site request forgery, and access to administrative tools is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
7. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account (see below); some records may be retained where required.
8. Your choices
You can update your profile and email from your account settings (email changes require confirmation of the new address). To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us using the details below.
9. Children
The platform is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy over time. The "last updated" date shows the most recent change. Continued use of the platform means you accept the current policy.
